On the hottest day of the year and several days into the current heatwave with temperatures averaging 30°C, we went into the town centre today to help the homeless cope with the heat.

We offered access to shower and laundry facilities along with handing out cold drinks, toiletries and t-shirts.

For us it was all about dignity and keeping our street friends safe.
